Reporting directly to the SVP of Central Ops, you will sit at the intersection of strategy and execution, translating a complex, rapidly evolving business into the processes, programs, and playbooks that let Metropolis operate at scale. You are a senior leader who has built from the ground up before and knows what it takes to drive operator adoption and team readiness in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will lead and develop three high-impact teams—Learning, Launch, and Marketing—aligning their roadmaps to the broader goals of Central Ops. You will architect the frameworks and tools that drive go-to-market execution, partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Operations to close capability gaps, and establish the reporting infrastructure needed to track enablement effectiveness.
- Lead and develop three high-impact teams — Learning, Launch, and Marketing — aligning their roadmaps and outputs to the broader goals of Central Ops and the business
- Architect and own the enablement strategy, including the frameworks, programs, and tools that drive operator adoption, team readiness, and go-to-market execution
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Operations to identify gaps in capability, process, or knowledge and build solutions that close them at scale
- Establish metrics and reporting infrastructure to track enablement effectiveness, using data to continuously iterate and improve what your teams deliver
- Lead the design and execution of launch programs that bring new markets, features, and products to life with speed and consistency
- Build and manage a learning function that onboards, trains, and continuously develops operators and internal stakeholders at every stage of the lifecycle
- Shape the marketing function within your team to produce content, campaigns, and materials that enable operators and drive platform engagement
- Serve as a senior leader within Central Ops, contributing to organizational planning, headcount decisions, and the team's long-term vision
What we're looking for
- 10+ years of experience in operations, enablement, go-to-market, or a related function
- 3+ years managing multi-disciplinary teams
- Proven track record of building processes and systems in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment while operating with ambiguity
- Deep experience owning or overseeing learning & development, launch operations, or marketing functions
- Design programs as a systems thinker to ensure solutions scale and prevent recurring problems
- Act as an excellent communicator and cross-functional partner who earns trust quickly and influences without authority
- Demonstrate the ability to hire, develop, and retain top talent across different functions and team cultures
- Experience leveraging AI tools to transform static workflows into responsive, high-output processes
While not required, these are a plus:
- Experience at a marketplace, mobility, proptech, or infrastructure company enabling a complex external operator or partner base
- Familiarity with building or scaling a learning management system (LMS), enablement platform, or knowledge base
- Background including both operator-facing and internal enablement across different audiences
When you join Metropolis, you’ll join a team of world-class product leaders and engineers, building an ecosystem of technologies at the intersection of parking, mobility, and real estate. Our goal is to build an inclusive culture where everyone has a voice and the best idea wins. You will play a key role in building and maintaining this culture as our organization grows. The anticipated base salary for this position is $170,000.00 USD to $200,000.00 USD annually. The actual base salary offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base salary is one component of Metropolis’s total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans and more.
Metropolis may utilize an automated employment decision tool (AEDT) to assess or evaluate your candidacy for employment or promotion. AEDTs are used to assist in assessing a candidate’s application relative to the required job qualifications and responsibilities listed in the job posting.
As part of this process, Metropolis retains data relevant to your candidacy, including personal information, for a period that is reasonably necessary for the use of the tool. If you are hired for the position, your data may become part of your employee records.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship in Vice President Of Operations
Document your cross-functional leadership scope
PERM job descriptions must precisely match your actual duties. Compile documentation of budget authority, headcount managed, and operational KPIs you own so your employer can accurately define the sponsored position and defend it during audit.
Target industries with chronic operations leadership gaps
Manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare operations consistently file more PERM applications for VP-level roles than professional services firms. Filter your search to employers in these sectors, where workforce shortages make PERM approval more defensible and sponsorship decisions faster.
Verify employer size before accepting an offer
Large employers subject to the H-1B-dependent employer rules face stricter recruitment attestations under PERM. Confirm early whether your prospective employer has completed PERM sponsorships before and has dedicated HR infrastructure to manage the multi-month DOL recruitment process.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified green card sponsors
Search Migrate Mate to identify companies with confirmed EB-2 and EB-3 PERM filing history for operations roles. This lets you target employers already familiar with the process rather than educating a reluctant HR team from scratch.
Check the OFLC Wage Search before negotiating salary
PERM requires your offered wage to meet or exceed the DOL prevailing wage for your job zone and location. Review the OFLC Wage Search for VP of Operations in your target metro so you can negotiate an offer that satisfies both you and the prevailing-wage requirement.

Find Vice President Of Operations JobsVice President Of Operations Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Do Vice President of Operations roles typically qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship?
Most VP of Operations positions qualify under EB-2 because employers typically require a master's degree or a bachelor's degree plus substantial progressive experience in operations management. If the employer sets a bachelor's degree as the minimum and the role is classified as a skilled worker position, EB-3 is also available. Many employers file both categories simultaneously to preserve the earliest possible priority date.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B for this role?
H-1B is a temporary nonimmigrant status capped at 65,000 per year with a lottery. Green card sponsorship through PERM and I-140 is permanent, has no annual cap for EB-3 petitions themselves, and leads to lawful permanent residency. The tradeoff is time: PERM labor certification alone takes six to eighteen months before USCIS even reviews the I-140, making early employer conversations essential for operations leaders on time-limited work authorization.
How can I find VP of Operations jobs where employers are already open to green card sponsorship?
Migrate Mate aggregates jobs with verified employment-based green card sponsorship history, so you can filter directly for VP of Operations roles at companies that have completed PERM filings before. This removes the friction of cold-pitching HR teams who may not know the PERM process and lets you spend negotiating capital on compensation rather than convincing employers sponsorship is possible.
What does the PERM recruitment process mean for my job search timeline?
Once your employer commits to sponsoring you, they must conduct a supervised DOL recruitment campaign demonstrating no qualified U.S. workers are available. This process typically adds three to six months before the PERM application is even filed. For VP-level roles with specialized operations requirements, well-documented job descriptions and salary levels aligned with the OFLC Wage Search reduce the risk of audit delays or denials.
Can I change employers after my green card process has started?
Under AC21 portability rules, you can change employers after your I-140 is approved and your I-485 has been pending for 180 days, provided the new job is in the same or similar occupational classification. For VP of Operations, moving between industries while staying in senior operations leadership generally qualifies, but you should confirm the new role's SOC code aligns with your approved petition before making the move.
