As a Purchasing Coordinator with Systems Control, you will provide purchasing and administrative support to the Procurement and Supply Chain Management teams. This is an onsite position in Iron Mountain, MI.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Supports Material Coordinators /Chain Supply in issuing purchase orders and tracking deliveries for materials, supplies, equipment and outside services
- Receives acknowledgements, tracks late deliveries and communicates with suppliers
- Updates and tracks supplier quality issues in the NCN process ensuring credits are received in a timely manner
- Creates quarterly scorecards for suppliers
- Maintains and updates material and vendor information in Syteline; including pricing, lead time, and min/max levels
- Maintains and updates blanket purchase orders as needed
- Assists department in obtaining material/service quotations
- Assists in updating department metrics on a monthly basis (delivery, quality, and cost)
- Assists in updating supplier diversity spend on a monthly basis
- Assists the Material Specialist and Buyers with adding/removing items from Kanban and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)
- Maintains a filing system in the purchase department and updating appropriate records when required
- Assists Accounts Payable by processing invoices for payment
- Executes weekly/bi-weekly reports to evaluate shifts in demand for key materials
- Supports Material Coordinator, Buyers and Director of Supply Chain Management with specific projects.
