Green Card Rpa Developer Jobs
RPA Developer roles qualify for EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship when the position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Employers file a PERM labor certification with DOL before sponsoring permanent residency, and automation-focused roles in finance, healthcare, and enterprise tech regularly attract this sponsorship pathway.

Document your automation tooling credentials
PERM requires your employer to prove your qualifications match the job requirements. Gather certifications in UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism before job offers are extended, since credential gaps can complicate the labor certification filing.
Target employers with PERM filing history
Use Migrate Mate to filter RPA Developer roles by employers who have filed PERM applications for similar positions, so you're applying to companies already familiar with the EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship process.
Verify the job description matches your degree
EB-3 sponsorship requires the posted role to specify a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. If the job listing says 'any degree,' USCIS may downgrade the petition category, so confirm degree requirements are explicit before accepting an offer.
Check prevailing wage before salary negotiations
DOL requires your employer to pay the PERM prevailing wage for your location and job zone. Look up your specific SOC code in the OFLC Wage Search before negotiating, so your offered salary clears the threshold required for labor certification.
Ask about concurrent I-140 and I-485 filing
If a visa number is currently available for your country under EB-3, your employer can file the I-140 immigrant petition and I-485 adjustment of status at the same time, cutting months off your wait to work authorization under green card status.
Understand how PERM job requirements get audited
DOL audits PERM applications when posted requirements seem tailored to one candidate. Make sure your employer lists only standard RPA Developer qualifications, not niche tool combinations that only you hold, which can trigger an audit and delay your filing.
Green Card Rpa Developer: Frequently Asked Questions
Does an RPA Developer role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Most RPA Developer positions qualify under EB-3 as skilled workers requiring a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. EB-2 applies when the role requires an advanced degree or your employer can demonstrate the position demands specialized expertise beyond a standard bachelor's. Your job offer's stated minimum education and experience requirements determine which category fits.
How does green card sponsorship for RPA Developers differ from H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B visa is a temporary nonimmigrant visa capped at 85,000 annually with a lottery for most applicants, while EB-3 green card sponsorship has no annual lottery. The green card process is longer, typically two to four years including PERM, I-140, and adjustment of status, but it results in permanent residency rather than a status that must be renewed every three years.
How long does the PERM labor certification process take for RPA Developer roles?
Standard PERM processing at DOL currently runs several months to over a year depending on audit activity. Your employer must first complete a supervised recruitment phase lasting at least 60 days, then file the ETA Form 9089. Audit selection can add six months or more. The I-140 and I-485 stages follow after PERM approval, extending total timelines further.
Where can I find RPA Developer jobs with green card sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you search RPA Developer roles specifically filtered by employers with employment-based green card sponsorship history, so you're not guessing which companies will sponsor PERM. This saves time compared to applying broadly and discovering late in the process that an employer won't support permanent residency applications.
Can my employer list UiPath or Automation Anywhere certification as a PERM requirement?
DOL scrutinizes PERM job requirements that appear tailored to a single candidate. Listing a specific proprietary tool version or a narrow combination of certifications that few candidates hold can trigger a PERM audit. Employers should describe requirements in terms of standard industry skills and experience levels to avoid delays and maximize the application's defensibility.
