Territory Account Manager Green Card Jobs
Territory Account Manager roles qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship when the position requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Employers file PERM labor certification with the DOL before sponsoring permanent residency, making sponsorship a multi-step process worth understanding before you apply.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship as a Territory Account Manager
Frame your degree for PERM classification
PERM requires the employer to define a minimum degree requirement for the role. Ensure your business, marketing, or related degree aligns with how the job description is written before interviews start, not after an offer is made.
Target employers with dedicated immigration programs
Large enterprise software, medical device, and industrial distribution companies regularly sponsor Territory Account Managers through PERM. Look for roles posted with explicit green card language or HR teams that reference immigration benefits in job descriptions.
Search verified sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Territory Account Manager openings by employers with active green card filing history. This cuts out the guesswork of cold-applying to companies that have never filed PERM labor certifications.
Verify prevailing wage before salary negotiations
Your employer must pay at least the DOL prevailing wage for your territory and role. Look up your geographic wage level using the OFLC Wage Search before negotiating, so your offered salary satisfies PERM requirements from day one.
Negotiate a green card commitment into your offer letter
Ask for a written commitment to initiate PERM within a defined timeframe, typically 12 months of employment. Without this, green card sponsorship can be delayed indefinitely even when the employer is willing in principle.
Understand EB-3 processing timelines for your country
EB-3 has no annual lottery like H-1B, but priority date backlogs affect nationals from India and China. Applicants from most other countries currently move through the queue faster, so knowing your estimated wait informs when to start the process.

Find Territory Account Manager JobsTerritory Account Manager Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Territory Account Manager role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Most Territory Account Manager positions qualify under EB-3 as professional roles requiring at least a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. EB-2 applies when the employer defines the role as requiring an advanced degree or when you qualify under the National Interest Waiver, though NIW self-petitions are rare for sales-oriented positions.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B for a Territory Account Manager?
H-1B is a temporary work visa with an annual lottery and a six-year maximum stay in most cases. Green card sponsorship through PERM and I-140 leads to permanent residency with no lottery and no expiration. The tradeoff is timeline: PERM labor certification alone takes six to twelve months, and EB-3 backlogs add wait time for some nationalities. Permanence is the primary advantage.
What does the PERM labor certification process require from the employer?
The employer must conduct a supervised recruitment process to demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available for the role. This includes posting the job, documenting applicant review, and filing ETA Form 9089 with the DOL. The Territory Account Manager job description used in recruitment must match the role you are actually being hired to perform.
How can I find Territory Account Manager jobs where employers are already open to green card sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you search Territory Account Manager roles filtered by employers with documented green card and PERM filing history. This is more reliable than filtering by job description keywords alone, since many employers that sponsor don't advertise it explicitly. Targeting companies with a track record of PERM filings significantly shortens your search.
Can I switch employers after my green card process has started?
You can change employers after your I-140 petition has been approved and your priority date is current or close, using AC21 portability. The new role must be in the same or a similar occupational classification as the one covered by your approved I-140. Territory Account Manager to a comparable sales or account management role generally satisfies this requirement.
