Responsibilities:
- Own the execution, performance and optimization of Meta, AppLovin, CTV, and emerging growth channel opportunities.
- Develop and evolve paid creative strategy by partnering with Brand, agency partners, and platform teams to identify winning concepts, messaging, and formats.
- Lead the day-to-day execution and optimization of our whitelisting / creator amplification program in partnership with the affiliate team, including creator selection, briefing, testing, and performance analysis.
- Manage day-to-day collaboration with paid media and creative agency partners, ensuring alignment on priorities, campaign execution, and performance opportunities.
- Build and execute testing plans across creative, audiences, bidding strategies, landing pages, and emerging channels.
- Monitor acquisition performance against key KPIs including CPA, LTV, conversion rate, and customer growth, sharing insights and recommendations with the Growth team.
- Stay current on paid media trends, platform updates, and emerging acquisition opportunities to identify new areas for testing and growth.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in growth, performance, or digital marketing, ideally within a consumer or DTC business.
- Strong experience managing paid acquisition campaigns, particularly on Meta, with additional experience across platforms such as AppLovin or similar performance marketing channels.
- Experience developing paid creative strategy and partnering with Brand, Creative, or agency teams to improve campaign performance.
- Strong understanding of paid creative best practices, with the ability to translate performance insights into actionable recommendations.
- Experience managing creator-led or whitelisted advertising programs.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using marketing analytics tools such as GA4, Amplitude, Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
- A curious, data-driven mindset with a passion for testing, learning, and continuous improvement.
Base Salary: $112,000-125,000

Mid Level Growth Marketing Director Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level growth marketing director job?
Position your existing experience around ownership and measurable outcomes. Hiring managers at this level want to see that you have run campaigns or channels independently, not just supported them. Highlight specific results you drove, decisions you made without constant direction, and any cross-functional work you led. A portfolio of owned projects with clear metrics moves your application to the top of the shortlist.
Which companies hire mid level growth marketing directors?
Companies hiring mid level growth marketing directors right now include Vercel, MongoDB, and Samba TV, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level covers a wide range of employers, from high-growth startups looking for marketers who can build systems with limited resources to larger organizations that need someone to own a specific channel or growth function within a broader team.
Are there remote mid level growth marketing director jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid opportunities are well represented at this level. About 44% of mid level growth marketing director openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how broadly distributed marketing teams have become. Fully on-site roles still exist, particularly at companies emphasizing close collaboration across product and sales, so filtering by work setting when you search helps you focus on openings that match your preference.
How do I move up to a mid level growth marketing director role?
The move from entry level to mid level hinges on taking on full ownership of at least one channel or project and seeing it through with measurable results. Build depth in one or two core areas, such as paid acquisition, lifecycle marketing, or conversion optimization, rather than staying generalist. Consistently documenting the impact of your work, including what you tested, what you changed, and what improved, is what makes the case for a mid level title when the opportunity comes.
Which industries hire the most mid level growth marketing directors?
Mid Level growth marketing director roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Banking & Financial Services, and Staffing & Recruiting, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors tend to drive the strongest hiring at this level because they combine fast-moving customer acquisition goals with enough marketing infrastructure to support a director who can own a function independently rather than starting from scratch.
