Summary
Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly financial analysis reports, developing and maintaining department budgets and generating cost reporting. The position oversees financial reporting and operations. Includes maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers. Position prepares and analyzes budgets and performs general bookkeeping. Includes generalized responsibilities for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Data Analysis/Communication/Issue Resolution Prevention % of Job 85%
- Analyze monthly cost allocations and report the trend of cost components for management decisions.
- Process month-end close and accrual work and generate financial statement package following business unit close schedule.
- Reconcile account balances and bank statements by supporting documents at the month end.
- Research for transferring and adjusting accounting procedures between generally accepted accounting principles and international financial reporting standards with Taiwan headquarters.
- Accounting entries booking support and review.
- Review periodic payment report and coordinate with Treasury Department to dispatch funds.
- Coordinate with manager to file tax relative documents provided by IRS.
- Prepare necessary reports and documents for annual package audits.
- Process and review daily journal entries within a limited time constraint.
- Assist in other projects and accounting department related tasks and jobs.
- Perform every task accurately and reliably.
- Provide effective communication with other departments.

Education and/or Experience
- Requires a Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
- Requires 2 to 5 years experience as Staff Accountant in like size business.

Working Conditions
Must be able to tolerate moderate to high noise levels in a warehouse environment. Office and outside environmental conditions found in the warehouse, hot in the summer, cold in the winter. Individuals may need to walk for an extensive period of time while working and walking in the facilities; to reach over shoulder heights; bend or stoop below the waist; repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement. Employee must be able to lift objects approximately up to 25 pounds.
