INTRODUCTION
Spreetail propels brands to increase their ecommerce market share across the globe while improving their operational costs. Spreetail is rapidly expanding, and we are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager in our warehouse to be a primary architect of our fulfillment growth. This isn't just about moving boxes; it’s about building leaders and teams of leaders. You will lead a high-velocity operation, relentlessly pushing the boundaries of order transit time, delivery quality, and accuracy. As a key partner to our global supply chain leadership, you will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and floor-level execution to ensure we stay ahead of the e-commerce curve.
How you will achieve success:
- Design and develop advanced analytics models and tooling infrastructure to optimize inventory levels and procurement.
- Oversee and enhance tools like ROB (Replenishment Open to Buy), NPR (New Part number Research), Inventory Control Tower, and Inbound/Freight Optimization for efficient order quantity generation and allocation. Develop new tools required for new business pursuits or advancing current operations.
- Ensure prompt response to business insights needs and tooling requisitions, adhering to an SLA set response window.
- Continuously monitor inventory levels and performance through advanced data analytics. Work to produce predictive analytics models that the reporting teams can utilize to support key inventory metrics 1+ years in advance (COH, Receipts, OOS, Inventory Turn, Lost Sales, Allocation %, etc.).
- Provide data-driven insights for ad hoc inventory decisions, supporting the inventory management team with necessary data and tools. Ensure the analysis explains business drivers ($s) vs. count metrics.
What experiences will help you in this role:
- Multiple years of progressive experience in high-volume fulfillment, manufacturing, or distribution; e-commerce expertise is strongly preferred to navigate our unique pace and customer-centric complexity.
- A minimum of 5+ years in a leadership capacity, with a demonstrated ability to transition from tactical oversight to high-level strategic planning and execution.
- A track record of successfully leading large-scale operations (headcounts of 50+ team members) across single or multi-site environments, maintaining operational integrity during rapid growth and seasonal peaks.
- Expert-level skill in identifying, assessing, and onboarding "Bar Raising" talent. You have a disciplined approach to recruitment that ensures every hire elevates the existing team’s capabilities.
- A demonstrated commitment to Radical Candor—the ability to provide and solicit direct, actionable feedback (both constructive and reinforcing) across all levels of the organization to drive continuous improvement.
- Experience managing complex labor and capacity models to balance fluctuating global inbound freight with rigorous, on-time outbound shipping expectations.
- A history of building and protecting a high-performance culture rooted in "Extreme Ownership," transparency, and a safety-first mindset.

Verify your degree supports specialty occupation
USCIS requires that your degree field directly relates to warehouse operations management. Supply chain, industrial engineering, operations management, or logistics degrees typically qualify. A general business degree alone may trigger an RFE, so document the specific coursework that ties your credential to the role.
Use O*NET to strengthen your job description
Pull the O*NET occupation profile for Warehouse Operations Managers to confirm the SOC code your employer will use on the LCA. Mismatched SOC codes between the LCA and I-129 petition are a common RFE trigger that delays adjudication by weeks.
Target employers with E-Verify enrollment first
STEM OPT extensions require E-Verify enrollment, but for H-1B cap cases, E-Verify enrollment signals that an employer already has compliant I-9 infrastructure. Filter your search on Migrate Mate to surface warehouse employers with verified H-1B filing history before cold-applying.
Check the LCA wage level against your offer
Run your offered title and location through the OFLC Wage Search before accepting an offer. If your employer files at Level I or II prevailing wage for a manager role, USCIS may question whether the position genuinely qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree.
Account for the cap registration window in your timeline
H-1B cap registration opens in March for an October 1 start date. If you receive a job offer after April, your earliest cap-subject start is the following October 1, a gap of up to 18 months. Confirm your employer will hold the offer and bridge your authorization with OPT cap-gap if you're on F-1 status.
Request premium processing when your offer has a hard start
USCIS offers premium processing on I-129 petitions, which guarantees a 15-business-day adjudication window. For warehouse operations roles with a specific facility opening or budget cycle tied to your start date, your employer should file for premium processing to avoid losing the position to adjudication delays.
H-1B Visa Warehouse Operations Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Warehouse Operations Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for H-1B purposes?
It can, but the employer must demonstrate the position normally requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field like supply chain management, logistics, or industrial engineering. Generalist management roles that accept any degree often face RFEs. A well-drafted job description that ties the daily duties to specialized theoretical knowledge is what USCIS evaluates.
Which employers sponsor H-1B visas for Warehouse Operations Manager positions?
Third-party logistics providers, large e-commerce fulfillment operations, and manufacturing companies with complex distribution networks are the most consistent sponsors for this role. You can browse warehouse operations employers with active H-1B filing history on Migrate Mate, which surfaces DOL Labor Condition Application data so you can confirm sponsorship before applying.
How does the prevailing wage requirement affect H-1B sponsorship for this role?
Your employer must file an LCA certifying your offered wage meets or exceeds the DOL prevailing wage for your specific job title, SOC code, and work location. Warehouse operations manager wages vary significantly by region and facility size. Use the OFLC Wage Search to check the applicable wage level before your offer letter is finalized.
Can I transfer my H-1B to a new warehouse employer if I change jobs?
Yes. Under H-1B portability rules, you can begin working for a new employer as soon as they file an I-129 transfer petition, without waiting for USCIS approval, provided you're maintaining valid H-1B status. The new employer must file a new LCA reflecting the new role, location, and prevailing wage before submitting the transfer petition.
What documentation should I prepare before asking an employer to sponsor my H-1B?
Gather your academic transcripts and degree certificates to confirm your credential aligns with the specialty occupation standard. If your degree is from outside the U.S., get a credential evaluation from a NACES-member organization. Also prepare a clear job description that maps your daily responsibilities to the theoretical knowledge your degree provides, since this directly supports the employer's I-129 filing.
