ABOUT THE JOB YOU’RE CONSIDERING
As AI reshapes how organizations operate, compete, and create value, we are evolving our consulting model to be AI-enabled by design — augmenting human judgment with analytics, automation, and generative AI. Our Enterprise Transformation team is looking for consultants who are not only strong problem solvers, but who are excited to work differently in an AI-first world: curious, adaptable, and ready to help clients reimagine how work gets done.
The Workforce & Organization (W&O) is Capgemini Invent’s people-led transformation capability, focused on helping organizations adapt their workforce, operating models, and ways of working to deliver sustainable business outcomes. W&O partners with clients to design and implement future-ready organizations—aligning strategy, talent, culture, and technology to enable large-scale transformation and improved workforce performance.
YOUR ROLE
As a managing consultant you’ll own change programs within large transformations: driving leadership alignment, adoption strategy, and measurable outcomes, while supporting growth through solution shaping and people leadership.
You’ll lead organizational change strategy transformations, which can include a wide range of programs such as leadership and culture changes, technology transformations, establishing and delivering organizational change adoption initiatives and/or driving AI adoption and other workforce transformation. This helps leaders to align on purpose, culture, and workforce capabilities. This work sits at the intersection of strategy, people, technology and performance. You will also be responsible for building trusted advisor partnerships with senior client stakeholders and contribute to the continued growth of this exciting practice.
You will:
- Lead enterprise-scale change programs and integrated adoption strategies across complex transformation workstreams
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, shaping organizational change strategy, governance, and leadership routines to sustain momentum
- Drive executive alignment across complex stakeholder ecosystems; build leadership narratives and executive-ready recommendations
- Oversee change execution at scale, including communications, training, readiness, and human-AI change adoption deliverables (e.g., stakeholder maps, impact assessments, RACI, governance)
- Lead high-performing teams, coach and develop talent, ensure delivery excellence, and support business development through proposals and client relationship growth
YOUR SKILLS + EXPERIENCE
You bring strong AI literacy, including core AI and generative AI concepts, and understand how these capabilities apply to enterprise transformation. You are able to identify and support AI-enabled opportunities that improve business outcomes and delivery effectiveness, and you have experience working in AI-augmented ways of working to enhance research, analysis, and solution development. You collaborate effectively across strategy, technology, data, and design to enable AI-driven solutions, with a solid understanding of responsible AI principles such as ethics, privacy, security, and governance. You demonstrate curiosity and a continuous learning mindset around emerging AI capabilities and their practical application in client environments.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 8–10+ years of change and transformation leadership experience, with a strong track record running large, complex programs and engaging senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to shape change strategies, organizational change management (OCM) frameworks, and enterprise adoption plans tied to business outcomes
- Experience measuring adoption and value realization, including adoption measurement, KPIs, and agentic workflows
- Ability to lead teams and drive results in ambiguity, including coaching teams on applying AI-enabled tools across the evolving workforce
- Strong commercial mindset with experience supporting shaping, sales, and client advisory conversations

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Visa Sponsorship as a Managing Consultant
Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
Managing Consultant roles must meet the H-1B1 visa specialty occupation definition, requiring a directly related bachelor's degree or higher. Pull the O*NET profile for management consulting to confirm the degree fields that support your specific advisory focus before applying.
Target employers with active LCA filing histories
Use Migrate Mate to filter Managing Consultant roles by employers who have previously filed Labor Condition Applications for consulting positions, so you're approaching companies already familiar with H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship rather than educating them from scratch.
Clarify your consulting specialization during interviews
Employers often confuse general management roles with specialty occupation consulting. Frame your work around a defined discipline, such as technology transformation, financial restructuring, or supply chain strategy, to make the DOL wage classification and LCA filing straightforward for HR.
Verify your prevailing wage tier before negotiating an offer
Check the OFLC Wage Search for your specific SOC code and the employer's metro area before salary discussions begin. The LCA must certify a wage at or above the prevailing rate, so knowing your tier prevents offers that can't clear the DOL filing requirement.
Confirm the employer can certify the LCA within your start timeline
The H-1B1 requires a certified LCA before your consulate appointment, and DOL targets a seven-business-day certification window. Ask the hiring team early whether their legal counsel handles LCA filings in-house or through external counsel so you can plan your interview and start dates accordingly.
Prepare a concise nonimmigrant intent statement for the consulate
Unlike H-1B visa, the H-1B1 does not allow dual intent, so the consulate will assess your intent to depart after your authorized period. Prepare a clear, factual statement about your ties to Singapore and your professional engagement with the U.S. role before your appointment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Managing Consultant role qualify as a specialty occupation for the H-1B1 Singapore visa?
Yes, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific related field such as business, economics, finance, or a technical discipline directly tied to the consulting practice area. Generalist management roles without a degree requirement in a specific field can create problems at the LCA stage, so the job description should explicitly state the degree requirement and the consulting specialty.
How does the H-1B1 Singapore visa compare to the H-1B for Managing Consultant roles?
The H-1B1 Singapore visa skips the H-1B lottery entirely, has a 5,400-visa annual cap that historically goes unfilled, and is processed directly at the U.S. consulate in Singapore rather than through a USCIS petition. For Managing Consultant roles, this means a faster and more predictable path to starting work, though the H-1B1 does not allow dual intent, unlike the H-1B.
How do I find employers in the U.S. who will sponsor an H-1B1 Singapore visa for a consulting role?
Migrate Mate lets you search for Managing Consultant roles filtered by employers with verified H-1B1 or Labor Condition Application filing history, so you can focus on companies already set up to sponsor Singaporean nationals. Targeting these employers directly cuts the time spent convincing HR teams unfamiliar with the H-1B1 Singapore process.
Can I switch consulting employers while on an H-1B1 Singapore visa without leaving the U.S.?
Changing employers on an H-1B1 requires your new employer to file a fresh LCA and you to obtain a new H-1B1 visa stamp at the consulate before re-entering the U.S. There is no H-1B portability equivalent for the H-1B1, so a job change typically requires a consulate appointment in Singapore between roles.
What does the DOL Labor Condition Application cover for a Managing Consultant position?
The LCA certifies that your employer will pay you the prevailing wage for the Managing Consultant role in the specific geographic area where you'll work, as determined by the OFLC Wage Search. It also confirms the employer is not using the H-1B1 hire to displace U.S. workers. DOL targets certification within seven business days of filing.
