H-1B1 Singapore Visa Solutions Architect Jobs
Solutions Architect jobs with H-1B1 Singapore visa sponsorship let Singaporean nationals bypass the H-1B lottery entirely. The annual cap of 5,400 visas rarely fills, and your application goes straight to a U.S. consulate. Employers filing an LCA with DOL can have you working in weeks, not months.

Verify your degree matches specialty occupation
USCIS requires Solutions Architect roles to qualify as specialty occupations, meaning a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a directly related field is mandatory. A general IT degree without a technical concentration can trigger an RFE.
Search LCA filings to target active sponsors
Filter OFLC's public disclosure data for H-1B1 visa LCA filings under SOC code 15-1299 or 15-1251 to identify employers who have actively sponsored Solutions Architect roles. These companies already understand the consular filing process and won't need educating.
Find H-1B1 roles through Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate surfaces employers with verified H-1B1 Singapore LCA filing history for Solutions Architect positions, so you're applying to companies that have already cleared the DOL step rather than cold-pitching sponsorship to unfamiliar hiring managers.
Clarify consular processing before accepting an offer
Unlike H-1B, H-1B1 visa is processed at the U.S. Embassy in Singapore, not through USCIS. Confirm your employer knows this distinction before signing an offer, as some U.S. HR teams default to USCIS-only workflows and may need time to adjust.
Check prevailing wage tier for your seniority level
Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up the prevailing wage for Solutions Architect roles in your target metro before negotiating salary. DOL assigns wage levels by experience, and a Level I wage on a senior role can slow or block LCA certification.
Prepare cloud certification evidence before interviews
Solutions Architect roles frequently require specialty occupation documentation beyond your degree. AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications tied to your specific job duties strengthen the employer's LCA position and reduce the likelihood of additional USCIS scrutiny at renewal.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do Solutions Architect roles qualify for the H-1B1 Singapore visa?
Yes. Solutions Architect positions qualify because they require at least a bachelor's degree in a specific technical field such as computer science, software engineering, or information systems. USCIS and the State Department both recognize architecture and systems design roles as specialty occupations, provided the employer documents the degree requirement clearly in the LCA and supporting materials.
How does the H-1B1 differ from H-1B for Solutions Architect hiring?
The H-1B1 Singapore visa has no lottery, a dedicated annual cap of 5,400 that rarely fills, and is processed directly at the U.S. Embassy in Singapore rather than through USCIS. For Solutions Architect candidates, this means your employer can initiate the LCA with DOL and have you consulate-ready within weeks. H-1B requires surviving a lottery before any employer investment in filing fees.
How do I find employers who actively sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas for Solutions Architects?
Migrate Mate filters job listings by verified H-1B1 LCA filing history, so you can target Solutions Architect roles at companies that have already completed the DOL Labor Condition Application step. This removes the guesswork of pitching sponsorship to employers who have no prior experience with the H-1B1 Singapore process.
What documents should I prepare before applying for Solutions Architect roles with H-1B1 sponsorship?
Gather your academic transcripts, degree certificates, and any cloud or vendor certifications relevant to the architect role. Your employer will need these to complete the LCA and demonstrate specialty occupation status to the State Department. If your degree is from a Singaporean institution, a credential evaluation confirming U.S. bachelor's equivalency strengthens the application at the consulate stage.
Can I switch employers on an H-1B1 Singapore visa without leaving the United States?
The H-1B1 visa does not support cap-gap protection or the same portability rules as H-1B. Changing employers typically requires your new employer to file a fresh LCA with DOL and you to obtain a new H-1B1 stamp at the U.S. Embassy in Singapore before resuming work. Planning any employer transition well in advance of your current visa's expiry is essential to avoid a gap in authorization.
