Advantage Hospice is seeking a Full-Time Hospice RN to join our team in the Pottsville area. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Hospice Team in the Pottsville, PA, and Surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and a passion for providing exceptional end-of-life care. Our team is committed to providing personalized support and comfort in the familiar surroundings of patients' homes.
7 Days On / 7 Days Off Schedule
Enjoy a full week off every other week while making a difference in the lives of patients and families when they need support the most.
On-Call Schedule:
Monday–Friday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 AM (overnight on-call).
Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 AM the following day (24-hour on-call coverage).
* Work 7 consecutive days, followed by 7 days off.
What You’ll Do:
Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients in their homes or in a hospice facility.
Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Administer medication, monitor vital signs, and manage symptoms to ensure patient comfort.
Educate and support patients and their families regarding end-of-life care and symptom management.
Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and community resources.
Offer emotional support, counseling, and education to patients and their families, addressing their unique needs and concerns.

About You:
You should have an active RN license in the state in which you are practicing or be a new grad with eligibility to take NCLEX.
Minimum 1 year of experience in hospice, palliative care, or related field preferred but not required.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
Knowledge of hospice regulations and practices preferred.
