About the role
Grow beyond the traditional HR Generalist role and build a long-term career through development, mobility, and advancement opportunities across Reworld’s South Region.
Position Summary
We are seeking an HR Generalist with approximately 3 years of experience who is ready to take the next step in their HR career. This role is designed for someone who is eager to grow, expand their business partnership skills, and gain broader exposure across HR disciplines while building a long-term career within Reworld.
This position offers meaningful career progression opportunities and exposure to multiple locations and business environments across the South Region. The ideal candidate is adaptable, driven, and excited by the opportunity to develop into future HR leadership or advanced HR business partner roles.
Candidates must be willing to reside in the Huntsville, AL area, travel to Tulsa, OK approximately one week per month (or more as business needs require), and remain open to future relocation opportunities within Reworld’s South Region to support continued career growth and advancement. Flexibility, mobility, and a development mindset are key to long-term success in this opportunity.
Position Responsibilities:
- Partner and coach managers on effectively engaging employees to assist in addressing and resolving people and employee relations issues
- Use data driven HR business insights to provide solutions and recommendations to leadership
- Support recruitment efforts within the assigned facilities; partner with facility managers to assess workforce planning needs
- Attend career fairs at local agencies, universities, vocational schools, etc. to source talent for open roles with a focus on improving diversity, equity and inclusion
- Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientations, exit/stay interviews, including analyzing trends and developing action tracker, status change forms to ensure HRIS System accuracy
- Serve as point of contact to employees regarding payroll and benefits questions
- Responsible for employee newsletters and employee engagement events
- Assist in the development, implementation and communication of company policies and procedures
- Create an environment of positive employee relations; balance business needs with employee needs, establish trust and credibility with employees and be seen as approachable and fair
Position Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources
- PHR or SPHR certification, preferred
- 3+ years of experience within Human Resources; preferably in a manufacturing environment supporting hourly and salaried workforce
- May require some travel to South Region facilities
- Strong business acumen and influencing skills
- Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously and working in an environment which requires flexibility
- Role model for safety leadership
- Self-starter who has a creative approach to implementing HR practices. The successful candidate must have the demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision and to independently prioritize workload effectively. The ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees is key
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office products
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong knowledge of employment/labor law and progressive HR practices
- HRIS experience highly desirable, experience with Workday/UKG Kronos a plus
Physical Demands of the Role:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.

Pay Transparency
Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld’s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.
The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $73,807.00 - $101,445.00. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
