ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support daily HR operations for a manufacturing facility or multi-site operation.
- Help support recruiting for hourly and salaried positions, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer support, and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and support talent acquisition strategies.
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, retention efforts, recognition programs, and workforce communication activities.
- Assist with employee relations matters by providing guidance on policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Prepare, update, and analyze HR metrics and reports, including headcount, turnover, absenteeism, time-to-fill, retention, and other key workforce trends.
- Develop and maintain Excel-based HR reports, trackers, and analytics dashboards to support leadership decision-making.
- Use data to identify trends and recommend improvements related to staffing, engagement, and retention.
- Support performance management, training coordination, and other employee development initiatives.
- Assist with policy implementation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Partner with payroll, benefits, safety, and operations teams as needed to support overall employee experience.
- Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement efforts across the department.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Must have 4+ years of HR experience required, with experience in manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in recruiting for hourly and/or salaried roles.
- Experience supporting employee engagement programs and initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and present HR data.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, filtering, sorting, and reporting.
- Experience in creating and managing data reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
- Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus.
- English / Bilingual a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Travel is minimal. Infrequent - only as needed for training.
Work Environment: Office/manufacturing production environment.
