Human Resources Assistant Jobs in Denver: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a human resources assistant job in Denver?
Focus your search on Denver's largest hiring sectors: healthcare systems anchored along the medical corridor, city and county government offices downtown, and the professional services firms clustered in the Denver Tech Center. Candidates who stand out typically hold an associate or bachelor's degree in HR or business and have hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems or onboarding coordination. Networking through Denver SHRM chapter events also opens doors that online applications often don't.
Which companies hire human resources assistants in Denver?
Companies currently hiring human resources assistants in Denver include Denver Public Schools, Kroger, and Stratom, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Denver's mix of large hospital networks, municipal employers, and regional corporate headquarters means steady, diverse demand for HR support roles across the metro.
Are there remote human resources assistant jobs in Denver?
Yes, though availability depends on the role since tasks like new-hire orientations and in-person onboarding typically require on-site presence. About 76% of human resources assistant openings tied to Denver are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with flexibility most common in benefits administration and HRIS data entry roles at Denver's larger corporate employers.
How can I get a human resources assistant job in Denver with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Denver is through temp-to-hire placements with staffing agencies, several of which maintain offices downtown and actively place candidates in HR support roles at local employers. Entry-level administrative assistant roles at Denver's hospital networks and government agencies frequently cross-train staff into HR functions. Completing an HR certificate through a community college or the Denver SHRM student program also signals initiative to local hiring managers.
