Job Details
The Human Resource Coordinator provides entry-level, hands-on support to the Human Resources Business Partner.HRBP Support - This role is responsible for compiling, tracking, and reporting on core workforce metrics including turnover, headcount, and other HR operational data that inform HRBP decision-making, while also coordinating onboarding and offboarding activities and monitoring compliance touchpoints throughout the employee lifecycle. The Coordinator partners closely with HRBPs to ensure data accuracy, identify trends within assigned client groups, and maintain seamless transitions for employees entering and exiting the organization. This position requires strong attention to detail, discretion in handling operational information, and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities across the HRBP function.
ER/LR Support - Provides entry-level administrative and operational support to the Employee Relations Partner and Labor Relations Partner functions, ensuring accurate, timely, and well-documented handling of case and contract-related tracking. This role will provide support with intake and documentation of employee relations investigations and complaints, tracking and updating organizing activity for enterprise-wide reporting, and assisting with collective bargaining agreement and grievance administration including filing and monitoring key deadlines. The Coordinator works closely with the ER and LR Partners to maintain organized case files, support consistent recordkeeping practices, and ensure compliance-related timelines are met across the labor relations lifecycle. This position requires strong attention to detail, discretion in handling sensitive employee information, and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities in a fast-paced, unionized environment.

Job Duties
- Supports and coordinates team activities of various committees, working groups, inter-system groups and meetings. Schedules appointments and coordinates arrangements for meetings, conferences and travel. Maintains schedule on email system.
- Composes/types letters, often covering subjects of a technical and/or confidential nature, memoranda, GANT charts, policies, Benefits Committee minutes. Takes minutes at meetings, when requested.
- Provides administrative/clerical support preparing invoices for signature and payment as needed.
- Provides data entry support of benefit and retirement information as needed including tuition applications for quarterly reporting; pension audit form letters to participants; and other benefit data as applicable.
- Monitors content and keeps HR benefits website up to date. Gathers wellness activities and educational session information from members of wellness committee and works with benefits manager and marketing manager to have up-to-date calendar entries posted on LiveWell@Jeff website.
- Supports activities, coordination and scheduling required for benefits and wellness fairs throughout the year.
- Assists with coverage rotation of the HR front desk.
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the University.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years administrative assistant experience with demonstrated proficiency in administrative assistant skills. Advanced training in computer applications (Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Graphics, Kronos) is highly desired. Must have demonstrated experience in handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
