HVAC Jobs in Orlando: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a hvac job in Orlando?
The strongest path into Orlando's hvac market is targeting commercial contractors and property management companies serving the hospitality corridor along International Drive and the rapid development in Lake Nona's medical and residential zones. Theme park facilities and large hotel operators also run ongoing maintenance teams. Candidates who hold an EPA 608 certification and have hands-on experience with chiller systems or commercial rooftop units stand out most with local hiring managers.
Which companies hire hvacs in Orlando?
Employers hiring hvacs in Orlando right now include Siemens, Daikin Applied, and Lockheed Martin, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. The local market is anchored by large commercial contractors, resort facility operators, and healthcare campus maintenance teams, many of whom hire on a rolling basis given the volume of construction and tourism activity in the region.
Are there remote hvac jobs in Orlando?
Yes, though sparingly: hands-on hvac work is almost entirely on-site by nature, so fully remote roles are rare. About 0% of hvac openings tied to Orlando are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting positions in roles such as estimating, project coordination, and service dispatch rather than field installation or maintenance.
How can I get a hvac job in Orlando with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point in Orlando is an apprentice or helper position with a commercial hvac contractor working on hotel, theme park, or new residential construction projects. Orlando's steady construction pipeline means contractors regularly take on entry-level help. Completing an EPA 608 certification before applying and targeting companies active in the Lake Nona or south Orange County build-out areas can accelerate your first hire.
Which industries hire the most hvacs in Orlando?
Orlando hvac roles concentrate in Marketing & Advertising, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. The region's heavy reliance on hospitality, healthcare campuses like AdventHealth and Nemours, and year-round commercial construction creates consistent demand that sets Orlando apart from most other Florida metros.
