Service Technician
(Bulk Cooking Oil Equipment & Filtration Systems)
Ocala, FL | Full-Time | $19–$23/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm
(Rotating Schedule (5) 8 Hour Days and (4) 10 Hour Days )
This role also participates in a rotating on-call schedule to assist with occasional after-hours service needs.

Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair bulk cooking oil filtration and storage systems at restaurant and foodservice locations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, solving mechanical problems, staying physically active, and taking pride in completing high-quality work.
Technicians work both in the field and at our facility, supporting equipment installation, preventative maintenance, and system troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Installation & Service
- Install bulk cooking oil storage tanks and filtration systems
- Troubleshoot and repair pumps, hoses, valves, and fittings
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform system repairs
- Conduct preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
Tank & System Maintenance
- Clean, inspect, and refurbish oil tanks and filtration components
- Replace seals, hoses, switches, and worn mechanical parts
- Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
Operations & Support
- Load and transport equipment, parts, and supplies
- Assist with oil delivery and system servicing at customer locations
- Maintain accurate inventory of truck tools and replacement parts
- Support warehouse or shop maintenance when needed
Customer Interaction
- Work inside commercial kitchens, warehouses, and service areas
- Communicate professionally with restaurant staff and team members
- Represent Stirling and Greasecycle with professionalism and reliability
Physical & Technical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs
- Comfortable working on ladders, under equipment, and in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, pumps, or mechanical systems
- Ability to read measurements and perform precise installations
- Clean driving record required
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
