TechPro Diesel is hiring an experienced mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain construction and heavy equipment throughout North Texas.
We’re looking for someone who can troubleshoot problems, take ownership of repairs, and work independently in the field. You’ll operate out of a fully equipped service truck with technical support available when needed.
What you’ll do:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components
- Perform preventive maintenance and field repairs
- Communicate findings, repair needs, and job progress clearly
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Keep your service truck and tools organized and ready for the next job
What we’re looking for:
- Hands-on experience repairing heavy equipment, construction equipment, or similar diesel machinery
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to manage field assignments independently once familiar with our operation
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable attendance, safe work habits, and professional communication with customers
Welding and fabrication experience is a plus, but not required.

- $28–$38/hour depending on experience, plus overtime
- Potential annual earnings of approximately $80,000–$120,000 depending on experience and hours worked
