Implementation Consultant Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a implementation consultant in Georgia?
Implementation consulting in Georgia has no state-issued license requirement, so the path centers on education and demonstrated platform expertise. Most Georgia employers expect a bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or business. From there, earning a vendor-recognized certification, such as a Salesforce Administrator credential or an SAP associate certification, is the most direct way to qualify for open roles posted by Georgia's technology and healthcare employers.
How much do implementation consultants make in Georgia?
Implementation consultants in Georgia earn a median of about $99,600 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $61,010 for the lowest 10% to over $172,850 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire implementation consultants in Georgia?
Employers hiring implementation consultants in Georgia right now include ADP, Siemens Healthineers, and Visa, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Georgia's concentration of fintech, healthcare IT, and logistics firms means demand is spread across large enterprise software vendors, regional consulting practices, and in-house IT departments at major corporations headquartered in metro Atlanta.
Which Georgia cities have the most implementation consultant jobs?
Atlanta, Alpharetta, and Augusta have the most implementation consultant openings in Georgia. Atlanta anchors the market as home to major technology, financial services, and healthcare employers, while Alpharetta's high concentration of software and fintech firms and Savannah's expanding logistics and port-related operations each drive consistent hiring in surrounding areas.
Are there remote implementation consultant jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 69% of implementation consultant openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting the desk-based, software-driven nature of the work. Discovery, configuration, and training phases of an implementation tend to be the most remote-friendly, while go-live support and on-site user training are more likely to require time at a client location.
How can I get hired as a implementation consultant in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is landing a junior business analyst or technical support role at a Georgia-based software company, then moving laterally into implementation work once you have platform exposure. Large Atlanta-area employers such as NCR Voyix and Fiserv regularly hire associate-level analysts for structured onboarding programs. Completing a vendor certification like Salesforce Administrator before applying gives candidates a concrete credential that compensates for limited on-the-job history.
Where can I find and apply to implementation consultant jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to implementation consultant jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings updated regularly. Search the listings for roles that match your platform expertise and experience level, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
