Job Overview
Risk Tide Solutions LLC is seeking an Instructional Designer – TPRM & Professional Training to develop professional training focused primarily on Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Vendor Risk Management (VRM), cybersecurity, governance, risk, compliance, and related business topics.
Our courses range from short online/microlearning courses to multi-hour professional training programs. We also develop customized training based on individual customer needs.
Responsibilities
- · Design and develop online, self-paced, and blended learning courses.
· Develop both short courses and multi-hour training programs.
· Work closely with Risk Tide Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to turn complex technical and business information into clear, engaging training.
· Develop learning objectives, course outlines, instructional content, scenarios, case studies, activities, quizzes, and assessments.
· Customize existing courses and develop new courses based on customer requirements.
· Review, update, and improve existing training.
· Prepare and test courses for LMS/online delivery.
Use modern instructional design and AI-assisted tools when appropriate
Working With Our SMEs
You do not need to be a TPRM expert. Our SMEs provide the subject-matter expertise. We need someone who can listen to an expert, ask good questions, understand what learners need to know, and turn that information into effective training.
Because of this close collaboration, the successful candidate must be available for occasional one-on-one meetings at our Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida office. These meetings will be scheduled around individual projects and may involve developing, reviewing, revising, or finalizing courses. This is not a daily in-office requirement.
Work Arrangement
· $25–$35/hour, depending on experience.
· Part-time, project-based 1099 independent contractor.
· Projects will have agreed-upon hours and deadlines.
· Workload may vary depending on current projects.
· As Risk Tide’s training business grows, the position could expand to full-time hours.
· If business needs and workload support a permanent position, there may be an opportunity to transition to full-time employee status.

Risk Tide Solutions LLC develops Third-Party Risk Management training and professional solutions to help organizations better understand, assess, manage, and monitor risks associated with their third-party relationships.
Experience
- We are looking for someone who:
· Must have experience with tools such as Articulate, since that is our main course too and also other areas such as Storyline/Rise, PowerPoint,
· LMS platforms, or similar tools is a must also since we have a selected platform we use now called LearningWorlds.
· Has experience in instructional design, e-learning, education, corporate training, or a related field.
· Is an excellent writer and editor.
· Can make complicated information easy to understand.
· Has experience working with Subject Matter Experts.
· Can take a course from concept through completion.
· Is organized, creative, and able to meet deadlines.
· Is comfortable learning new subject matter and technology.
TPRM, cybersecurity, GRC, compliance, or business-risk experience is a plus, but not required.
