Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy to adult patients with diverse mental health and behavioral health needs.
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, clinical evaluations, and ongoing assessments of patient progress.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable therapeutic goals.
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy for depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, and other psychiatric conditions within your scope of practice.
- Apply appropriate therapeutic modalities based on clinical training and patient needs, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and other evidence-based approaches.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation, including progress notes, assessments, and treatment plans.
- Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust interventions as clinically indicated.
- Coordinate care with psychiatrists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, and other members of the clinical team when appropriate.
- Provide psychotherapy through telehealth in accordance with Florida law and applicable organizational requirements.
- Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, ethical standards, and a patient-centered approach.
- Attend scheduled in-office days and required meetings at our Fort Lauderdale location.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the State of Florida.
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Experience providing individual psychotherapy in an outpatient mental health, behavioral health, psychiatric, or clinical setting.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, treatment planning, and therapeutic skills.
- Knowledge of evidence-based psychotherapy approaches and common psychiatric conditions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and clinical documentation skills.
