Job Summary

As a Licensed Massage Therapist, you’ll provide thoughtful, individualized massage therapy that supports client comfort, mobility, and wellness. You’ll assess each client’s needs, explain suitable techniques, and adapt sessions based on their goals and feedback. About the Role

We're looking for a part-time massage therapist who works confidently and independently, with strong clinical assessment skills and hands-on training in myofascial release. This is a great fit for a therapist who thinks beyond "relaxation massage" and wants to do meaningful, results-driven bodywork with clients who are looking for real, lasting relief.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and discuss health history, preferences, and treatment goals before sessions.
• Provide Therapeutic, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and prenatal massage when appropriate to client needs and training.
• Apply anatomy and physiology knowledge to tailor techniques and support safe, effective care.
• Communicate clearly about session plans, comfort, and aftercare; maintain accurate client records using appropriate medical terminology.
• Deliver attentive patient service and customer service while following hygiene, privacy, and occupational health practices.

Requirements

• Hold an active massage therapy license required for the work location; maintain required credentials.
• Demonstrate massage therapy skills and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment.
• Bring strong client communication skills and a respectful, client-focused approach.
• Pain management experience is valuable.
• Available to work one day shift, one night shift or 2 Saturdays/month

Preferred (not required)

• Additional training in craniosacral therapy, corrective exercise, or mindfulness-based modalities
• Experience working with chronic pain, post-injury, or orthopedic populations

Pay: $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 10.0 per week
