Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Stone Therapy, Sports Massage, and Prenatal Massage to meet client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and customize sessions accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide guidance on pain management and wellness strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments administered, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to all health regulations and sanitation standards.
- Stay informed about the latest massage therapy techniques and industry best practices through ongoing education.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist in good standing.
- Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, kinesiology, and pathology.
- Exceptional patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients of diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop effective massage plans.
