Client: Entertainment Provider
Title: Licensing Compliance Analyst
Location: 1515 Broadway, New York, NY 10036 - Onsite
Duration: 09 Months (Extension/Conversion will be based on the performance)
Pay Range: ($33-$35) hourly
Responsibilities:
- Review licensing contracts and royalty statements to ensure compliance with financial terms.
- Investigate and resolve royalty, payment, and reporting discrepancies throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Support licensees and internal teams with royalty reporting, statement processing, and system access issues.
- Manage accounts receivable (AR), collections, and royalty compliance matters.
- Monitor outstanding receivables, follow up on overdue payments, and maintain collection status records.
- Resolve unapplied cash and support month-end close activities.
- Coordinate withholding tax documentation and support Finance, Sales, and offshore reporting teams.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses for management.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles; royalty accounting experience preferred.
- Ability to interpret contracts and perform detailed financial analysis.
- Strong root-cause investigation and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.
Experience:
3-7 years of experience in licensing, royalty accounting/compliance, collections, AR, finance operations, or related fields. Experience in operations finance, accounting, or operations management preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance preferred. Other bachelor's degrees considered if accompanied by relevant royalty and collections experience.
