Logistics Analyst Jobs in Tennessee: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a logistics analyst in Tennessee?
Most logistics analyst roles in Tennessee require a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or industrial engineering, though some employers accept equivalent experience in operations or procurement. Tennessee does not require a state-issued license for this role. Earning a certification such as the APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional or the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals designation strengthens a candidate's profile considerably with Tennessee's large distribution and manufacturing employers.
How much do logistics analysts make in Tennessee?
Logistics analysts in Tennessee earn a median of about $71,280 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $42,730 for the lowest 10% to over $127,700 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire logistics analysts in Tennessee?
Employers hiring logistics analysts in Tennessee right now include AutoZone, Mitsubishi, and Cracker Barrel, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Tennessee's concentration of major distribution centers, automotive manufacturers, and healthcare supply chains means demand for logistics analysts is spread across multiple industries rather than a single sector.
Which Tennessee cities have the most logistics analyst jobs?
Lebanon, Memphis, and Franklin have the most logistics analyst openings in Tennessee. Memphis anchors the list as one of the country's largest freight and distribution hubs, driven by FedEx's global headquarters and a dense network of third-party logistics providers, while Nashville's growth in corporate headquarters and healthcare supply chain operations, along with Chattanooga's manufacturing corridor, sustain consistent demand in those markets.
Are there remote logistics analyst jobs in Tennessee?
Yes, and more than many operations roles, since logistics analysts work primarily with data systems and reports rather than on a warehouse floor. About 100% of logistics analyst openings tied to Tennessee are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the desk-based nature of forecasting, reporting, and network analysis work. Roles involving direct oversight of distribution facilities or carrier negotiations tend to require on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a logistics analyst in Tennessee with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a supply chain coordinator or operations assistant role at one of Tennessee's large distribution or manufacturing employers, where you build hands-on systems experience before moving into an analyst title. FedEx, Bridgestone, and Dollar General all hire operations associates and rotational supply chain participants who transition into analytical roles. Completing an APICS certification or demonstrating proficiency in Excel and a transportation management system gives candidates without a formal analytics background a clear competitive edge in Tennessee interviews.
Where can I find and apply to logistics analyst jobs in Tennessee?
You can find and apply to logistics analyst jobs in Tennessee on Migrate Mate, which lists current Tennessee openings updated regularly. Find roles that fit your experience and location, then apply directly to the employer through each listing.
