About the Role
Arboreal Management is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to lead the operations of a pod in Cap Hill. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with a proactive mindset and a passion for maintaining high-quality housing.
You’ll oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, manage a small team of 1-3 technicians, and play a key role in ensuring our residents feel safe, respected, and well cared for.
What You’ll Do
Lead maintenance operations across residential properties.
Supervise and support a team of 1-3 maintenance professionals, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
Perform hands-on maintenance work (~50% of your time), with a focus on unit turns.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans.
Collaborate with property managers to prioritize repairs and capital improvements.
Communicate directly with residents in a respectful, timely, and solution-oriented manner.
Occasionally assist nearby properties as part of a collaborative team.
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, ideally in multifamily or older buildings.
Strong skills in general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, flooring, etc.).
Experience leading or mentoring maintenance teams or vendors.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Comfort with basic tech tools (e.g., digital work order systems, Excel).
A problem-solving mindset and a commitment to quality and safety.
Spanish language skills are a plus.
