Do you have a desire to make a major contribution to the future in the rapid growth environment of Cloud Computing? Amazon Web Services is looking for a results-oriented individual to manage our global operations from capacity planning, materials planning and materials management space for Data Center Power & Cooling equipment globally.
As the leader of the Power and Cooling Operations team, you will manage a team of global material planners and materials managers who are responsible for regional forecasting, demand planning and materials management execution for both new and scaling regions. This team owns the E2E program management and tracking for data center builds within their regions to guarantee all upstream dependencies are completed on time to ultimately deliver equipment on time. This role's primary responsibility is to maintain unconstrained supply on a global scale for all data centers globally and work with our internal customers and business partners to understand demand signals and drive the appropriate supply strategies to deliver continuity of supply.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop, implement, and manage material planning and forecasting strategies on a global scale
- Drive the strategic aspects of large complex cross-functional projects
- Conduct regional forecasting and demand planning
- Understand demand inputs and position supply to support unconstrained growth at AWS scale in both the short-term and long-term horizons
- Engage with all internal cross functional counterparts to complete all upstream dependencies on time to deliver power and cooling equipment on time globally
- Drive on time ordering through cross functional coordination
- Drive post mortem analysis to improve scaling and new regions materials planning processes
- Drive planning/process improvement initiatives to continually lower risk and increase on time delivery
- Develop analytical reports to deliver information to business partners and stakeholders that support improved decision making
- Manage allocation of material to demands based on priority
- Manage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals
- Requires travel up to 20% of the year

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures experience
- Knowledge of distribution networks and channel P&Ls
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent
- Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent
- Experience negotiating VP-level contracts with channel partners and agencies
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Senior Leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of managing and developing high performance teams experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
