What You'll Do
- Lead supplier and subcontractor negotiations across multiple markets.
- Build and maintain strong trade partner relationships while ensuring competitive pricing and dependable capacity.
- Oversee competitive bidding, contract administration, and purchasing strategies.
- Develop and maintain our should-cost model to improve pricing accuracy and purchasing decisions.
- Identify value engineering opportunities that improve margins without compromising quality.
- Partner with Estimating, Product Development, Construction Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Purchasing Agents while establishing purchasing standards and best practices.
- Monitor KPIs and purchasing performance to support company growth and operational excellence.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of purchasing, estimating, construction, supply chain, or related experience.
- Experience negotiating supplier and subcontractor agreements.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong financial, analytical, and business acumen.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP or purchasing systems.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.

- Residential homebuilding experience.
