HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
All LCSNW team members will contribute to our mission of partnering with individuals, families and communities for health, justice and hope. The Procurement Coordinator supports efficient, cost-effective, and compliant operations by coordinating purchasing and procurement activities across the organization. This position helps ensure purchases are appropriately documented, competitive procurement requirements are followed, vendors are effectively coordinated, and procurement records meet agency, funder and regulatory requirements. Through responsive procurement support, the position helps programs obtain the goods and services needed to serve communities effectively.

• Coordinate organization-wide purchasing and procurement activities in accordance with established agency policies, funding requirements, budgets and applicable federal and state procurement standards.
• Coordinate competitive procurement processes, including requests for quotes, proposals and bids; obtain and compare vendor responses; support evaluation and selection; and maintain documentation of procurement decisions.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding and purchasing documentation, including required forms, agreements, approvals and compliance records; serve as a point of contact for routine vendor and staff procurement questions and escalate significant issues as appropriate.
• Prepare, route and track purchase orders, procurement documents and related approvals through completion, following up with staff and vendors to support timely purchasing and resolve routine issues.
• Maintain complete, accurate and audit-ready procurement records and prepare routine reports to support compliance reviews, audits, budget monitoring and purchasing analysis.
• Monitor purchasing activity and anticipated needs, identify opportunities for cost savings or purchasing efficiencies, and communicate trends, risks and recommendations to appropriate stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Finance, Contracts, Facilities, programs and other departments to improve procurement processes, maintain purchasing tools and resources, and provide guidance to staff on established procurement procedures.

HOW YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT:

• Two (2) years of experience in procurement, purchasing, contracting, supply chain administration or a closely related function; experience in a nonprofit, government, grant-funded or other regulated environment is relevant.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, logistics/supply chain or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of purchasing and procurement practices, including competitive sourcing, vendor selection, purchasing documentation and internal controls, with the ability to learn and apply applicable federal, state, grant and organizational requirements.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills, including the ability to evaluate quotes and proposals, maintain audit-ready records, coordinate multiple priorities, and recognize matters requiring escalation.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills and ability to work effectively with employees, vendors, contractors and partners across a complex organization with multiple service lines, funding sources, populations served and geographic locations.
• Proficiency with common business applications and productivity suites, including spreadsheets, and comfort learning procurement, workflow, document management and reporting systems.
• Demonstrates resilience, awareness and self-regulation in navigating challenges, conflict and obstacles/barriers.
• Successfully completes tasks in a low noise environment; interacts with others and performs tasks in-person and through technology; moves equipment/materials weighing up to 25 pounds; and travels between worksites occasionally, requiring a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Works in a variety of settings, including LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community-based settings, and faith-based settings such as churches.
• Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other job-relevant clearances as required by the State or program
