Responsibilities include
- leading plan analysis, design, cost mitigation, vendor procurement, and benchmarking projects
- serving as project manager and main client contact, coordinating with teams across locations
- maintaining client relationships, providing technical expertise, and mentoring junior staff
- managing engagement risks, compliance, billing, and budgeting
- building client relationships and presenting technical recommendations
- contributing to market and business development activities
Additional senior-level duties involve leading complex benefit plan projects.
Qualifications include a
- minimum of five years (Senior Manager) or eight years (Manager) of experience in employer benefit strategies
- a bachelor’s degree
- professional credentials such as CPA, EA, JD/LLM, or advanced degrees/certifications like MBA, CEBS, CCP, GPHR
- experience leading large client engagements, managing multiple projects, and deep industry knowledge across benefits, regions, and carriers
- strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
- ability to work onsite at client locations and travel as needed
