The opportunity
As a Senior Manager in HR Transformation within the People & Behavior discipline, you will be at the forefront of shaping innovative HR strategies that align with our business performance goals. You will be instrumental in transforming HR operations to boost business outcomes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and managing risk within a complex operational environment.
Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will design and implement visionary HR strategies and solutions, drawing on industry-leading practices. You will manage the effectiveness of HR operations and services, and oversee project delivery, budget implementation, and performance goals. Building and maintaining strong client relationships will be crucial for revenue generation and commercial success. You will lead managers across various activities, deeply analyze functions or specializations, and drive innovation and thought leadership. Additionally, you will identify sales opportunities and manage Engagement Economics, including resource planning and budgeting for engagements.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- A bachelor's degree with 8-10 years of relevant experience
- Experience in leading and guiding teams to success
- Previous recent experience in a similar client facing role with a consulting firm
- Proficiency in process optimization and automation
- Expertise in digital strategy development
- Skill in designing HR performance metrics and measuring their impact
- Understanding of the HR technology landscape
- Experience driving HR Strategy and Operating Model design
- Possess knowledge of HR Compliance and Regulation Awareness
- Knowledge of risk management in HR quality and operations
- Ability to analyze organization and workforce dynamics
- Willingness to travel as needed, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment with an average of three (3) days per week at a client site or within an EY office.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Commercial savvy and the ability to manage change effectively
- Experience with Workday, ServiceNow HRSD and/or SuccessFactors
- A commitment to sustainability and creating client trust and value
- Excellent communication skills and adeptness at negotiation and influence

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $145,800 to $333,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $174,900 to $378,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
