- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain marine diesel engines. Perform inspections, overhauls, testing, and field service.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic engine-system issues.
- Maintain company vehicles and company tools.
- Work independently or as part of a team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Passport or ability to obtain one.
- TWIC card or ability to obtain one.
- Have 5+ years of experience as a diesel service technician.
- Have very good knowledge of caterpillar engines.
- Knows how to use CAT ET.
- Willing to work a call rotation.
- Willing to travel out of state and country.
- Automotive/light-duty diesel experience alone will not be considered; candidates must have heavy-duty diesel and/or marine propulsion experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with one or more of the following: Detroit, Cummins, John Deere, GE, MAK, Bergen, MTU, EMD.
