- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, chillers, pumps, boilers, air handlers, fan coils, and related equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using meters, gauges, manufacturer information, and other diagnostic tools.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to identify potential equipment issues before they become failures.
- Make recommendations for repairs or replacement when equipment requires additional work.
- Complete service tickets, document findings, and provide clear notes and recommendations for customers and the office.
- Communicate professionally with customers, explain equipment issues, and keep them informed of needed repairs.
- Work on HVAC controls, motors, VFDs, piping, pumps, drain systems, and other related components as needed.
- Respond to emergency and after-hours service calls as part of the company’s service operation.
