Magnit is looking for an experienced Senior Events Specialist to plan and manage the execution of internal and external events to support companywide initiatives, help drive brand awareness and deliver measurable business impact. The successful candidate will bring passion, ambition and has experience in delivering events for major brands.
Up to 20%-25% of travel to events will be expected
Responsibilities
- Manage program/project goals and timelines related to key projects and deliverables.
- Support meeting planning and logistics to support the desired outcome of the meeting or conference.
- Execute and project manage proprietary events, 3rd party events and some internal events including budgeting, travel logistics, promotional plan, and coordination with partner, sales, and client success teams.
- Gather feedback from attendees and incorporate big ideas into future events.
- Manage business priorities that support the overall company objectives.
- Partner with external suppliers and agencies as needed.
- Manage event staffing and contractors onsite.
- Manage ongoing metrics, both qualitative and quantitative to measure success of meetings/events and design deliverables.
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of event marketing experience
- You have a proven track record of marketing success from within a Cloud software/service, SaaS, or IaaS company is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrate excellent listening, oral and written communication, presentation skills with strong ability to influence people at all levels and in various functions.
- Ability to present confidently and concisely to internal and external audiences, including executives.
- Highly developed project management skills with outstanding attention to detail.
- Ability to create and manage a budget.
- Ability to operate effectively as part of large, complex virtual team.
COMPENSATION
- Salary range is $75,000-$90,000 USD annually. Salary rate is based on experience, skills, and geographical location.
