Marketing Jobs in Redmond: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a marketing job in Redmond?
The strongest path into Redmond's marketing market is targeting the technology and software companies clustered in Overlake and the Redmond Town Center corridor, where demand for product marketing, demand generation, and brand roles runs consistently high. Candidates who can demonstrate experience with data-driven campaigns or B2B go-to-market strategies stand out with the employer types that dominate this market. Searching current Redmond openings and applying directly gives you the clearest picture of what is active.
Which companies hire marketings in Redmond?
Redmond marketing roles are posted by Microsoft and B.E. Meyers and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Redmond's employer base skews heavily toward large technology firms and enterprise software companies, alongside a growing mix of retail and consumer brands with regional headquarters in the area.
Are there remote marketing jobs in Redmond?
Yes, though availability depends on the specialty. Content, digital, and analytics-focused marketing roles tend to be the most remote-friendly, while field marketing, event, and retail marketing roles typically require an on-site presence. About 100% of marketing openings tied to Redmond are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, reflecting the technology-heavy employer base that anchors the local market. Campaign management and SEO roles see the highest share of fully remote postings among Redmond listings.
How can I get a marketing job in Redmond with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point in Redmond is applying for marketing coordinator or marketing associate roles at the area's mid-size technology and software companies, which tend to hire earlier-career candidates and offer structured team environments. Internship programs at Redmond's larger employers, and contract-to-hire roles posted through local staffing firms, are common on-ramps. Building hands-on experience with paid media platforms or marketing automation tools sharpens a resume for Redmond's predominantly tech-sector hiring managers, even without years of prior work history.
