Marketing Operations Specialist Jobs in Delaware: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing operations specialist in Delaware?
Most marketing operations specialist roles in Delaware require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a closely related field. Delaware does not issue a state license or registration for this role, so employers focus on demonstrated platform experience, particularly with marketing automation and CRM tools. Building a portfolio that shows campaign builds, workflow logic, and reporting work is the most effective way to stand out with Delaware's corporate and life sciences employers.
How much do marketing operations specialists make in Delaware?
Marketing operations specialists in Delaware earn a median of about $101,270 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $51,480 for the lowest 10% to over $165,840 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire marketing operations specialists in Delaware?
Delaware marketing operations specialist roles are posted by JPMorganChase, Citi, and DuPont and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Delaware's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and major pharmaceutical operations in the Wilmington corridor means corporate marketing teams here tend to be established and hire on a recurring basis.
Which Delaware cities have the most marketing operations specialist jobs?
Wilmington, Newark, and Dover account for the largest share of marketing operations specialist openings in Delaware. Wilmington drives the most volume as the state's corporate and financial hub, while Newark benefits from its proximity to large university-linked research and biotech employers, and Dover draws postings from state government contractors and regional business services firms.
Are there remote marketing operations specialist jobs in Delaware?
Yes, and more than most fields. Marketing operations is a desk-based, platform-driven role that translates well to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 52% of marketing operations specialist openings tied to Delaware are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how widely distributed the talent pool for this role has become. Campaign management, automation workflows, and reporting work are the tasks most commonly performed fully remote.
How can I get hired as a marketing operations specialist in Delaware with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a marketing coordinator or marketing analyst role at one of Delaware's larger corporate employers, where you can gain hands-on exposure to the platforms and processes used by operations teams. Companies like JPMorgan Chase and AstraZeneca run rotational or associate programs that place entry-level candidates across marketing functions. Earning a platform certification, such as those offered by HubSpot or Salesforce, gives candidates a concrete credential that compensates for limited work history and signals readiness for operations-focused responsibilities.

Search the available roles, identify the ones that fit your background and preferred location, and apply directly through the listing.
