Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist
Colorado Cleanup Services is looking for a creative, reliable, hands-on Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist to help tell the story of what we do every day.
We are a Denver-based restoration and reconstruction company that helps customers recover from water damage, fire damage, mold, contents damage, and other property disasters. Our work is fast-paced, real-world, and important to the people we serve. We are looking for someone who can turn that work into compelling digital content that builds trust, strengthens our brand, and helps customers, property managers, businesses, and referral partners understand who we are and what we do.
This is not a remote-only marketing role. The right person will be comfortable visiting job sites, working around restoration crews, capturing photos and videos, and turning real projects into professional, engaging content for social media, Google, our website, and other marketing channels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and help execute a practical social media and content strategy for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Google Business Profile, and other relevant platforms
- Visit job sites to capture photos, short videos, before-and-after content, equipment setups, containment work, rebuild progress, and completed projects
- Create engaging content including social posts, short videos, graphics, captions, project stories, blog ideas, and customer-focused educational content
- Manage a content calendar and schedule posts using social media scheduling tools when appropriate
- Write clear, professional, accurate content that reflects our company’s voice and builds trust with homeowners, commercial clients, property managers, and referral partners
- Turn real restoration and reconstruction projects into stories that explain the value of our work
- Highlight customer reviews, technician spotlights, safety milestones, community involvement, company culture, and successful projects
- Support basic local SEO efforts through keyword-aware content, Google Business Profile updates, photos, service-related posts, and project writeups
- Track social media and digital marketing performance and help identify what content is working
- Coordinate with our sales, operations, and leadership teams to identify content opportunities
- Work with outside website, SEO, or advertising vendors as needed
- Engage appropriately with online comments, messages, and reviews in a professional manner
Qualifications
- Experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, communications, video, or a related field
- Strong writing, proofreading, and storytelling skills
- Comfortable filming and editing short videos using a phone and simple editing software
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms
- Basic understanding of SEO, keywords, Google Business Profile, and web analytics
- Ability to create content that is professional without feeling generic or overproduced
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Comfortable working with technicians, salespeople, managers, customers, and job-site personnel
- Willingness to be around active restoration, construction, and rebuild job sites
- Able to work independently while staying aligned with company goals and brand standards
Helpful but not required
- Experience in restoration, construction, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, remodeling, real estate, property management, or another home-service industry
- Photography, videography, or graphic design experience
- Experience with WordPress or basic website updates
- Experience with Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, Search Console, or paid social campaigns
