We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Infusion Therapy team at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-time Days position Monday-Friday from 8-5.
Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center combines the clinical breakthroughs of the number one cancer center in America and the full resources of North Florida’s largest and most preferred health system.
As an Infusion Therapy Registered Nurse, you will:
Performs venipuncture, IV catheter insertion, and PICC line care.
Calculates and administers IV medications.
Recognizes signs of distress or reaction to meds.
Identifies abnormal labs based on patients drug and co-morbidities.
Obtains vital signs.
Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services.
Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care.
Educate of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care.
Serve as patient advocate and responsible for assisting the Interventional Radiologists.
Provide optimum care utilizing the nursing process

Oncology Infusion Experience
Education & Credential Requirements:
Associates of Science in Nursing Required
Registered Nurse (RN) - State Nursing Boards Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Required
