Position: Mental Health Clinician & Therapist (Associate or Fully Licensed): PMHNP-BC, LAPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, AMFT, or LMFT
Employment Classification: Independent Contractor (1099)
Location: Fulton, GA, Decatur, GA, Conyers, GA | Community & Partner Sites
Schedule: Weekday Daytime and Weekend Availability
Compensation: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Position Summary
The Well of Restoration, Inc., a faith-based mental health organization, is seeking compassionate, skilled, and motivated master's-level clinicians to provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, parents, caregivers, and families. The clinician will provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy, clinical assessments, treatment planning, psychoeducation, and recovery-focused interventions across community and partner settings. Our approach integrates evidence-based practices with holistic, strengths-based care to promote healing, resilience, and long-term wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial-spiritual assessments, clinical screenings, risk assessments, and diagnostic evaluations within scope of practice.
- Provide individual, family, dyadic, and group psychotherapy to children, youth, adults, parents, and caregivers.
- Facilitate trauma-informed therapeutic process groups, including substance use recovery and 12-step-oriented groups.
- Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as clinically indicated.
- Address trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, family conflict, grief, substance use, and recovery needs.
- Incorporate evidence-based, person-centered, experiential, and holistic interventions, including mindfulness, expressive activities, and psychoeducation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, caregivers, partner organizations, and community professionals to coordinate services.
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation, including assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and group summaries.
- Uphold professional ethics, confidentiality, clinical quality standards, and applicable organizational and partner requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Science in Nursing (Education or Clinical Specialty), Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related clinical discipline.
- Active Georgia associate-level or independent clinical license in good standing, such as PMHNP-BC, LAPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, AMFT, or LMFT.
- Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care, clinical assessment, therapeutic interventions, and treatment planning.
- Ability to work independently, communicate professionally, and engage diverse populations across the lifespan.
- Availability for weekday daytime and weekend service opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families.
- Experience facilitating substance use recovery, process, or psychoeducational groups; familiarity with 12-step recovery approaches.
- Background in community-based behavioral health, early childhood mental health, family systems, or trauma-focused treatment.
- Training in TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, or other evidence-based approaches.
Additional Requirements
- Maintain professional liability insurance and required background clearances.
- Maintain appropriate clinical supervision when required by associate licensure.
- Complete required onboarding and maintain accurate documentation and professional standards.
- Ability to travel to assigned partner locations throughout Metro Atlanta.
