The Merchandising Manager’s main priority is managing and leading a group of Merchandisers that are accountable for in store execution through merchandising product to the shelf, displays, and cold equipment in large format stores. The Merchandising Manager will also be responsible for the coaching and development of their respective teams. The Merchandising Manager will be accountable for managing labor hours within a set budget.
Job Description
MANAGING EXPECTATIONS
Establish set Merchandising routes for each employee to follow weekly.
Manage labor hours within the specified budget.
Establish and maintain regular and on-going communications with retail partners/decision makers in order to successfully implement national/local programming.
LEADING EXCELLENCE
Ensure 3 route rides are completed per week. The primary purpose of the route rides is to train, develop, and evaluate the performance of the Merchandiser and the executional conditions of his/her market.
Conduct bimonthly Merchandiser meetings/workshops in groups and 1 on 1 to improve executional expertise and recognize/reward results.
ORGANIZATIONAL LEADER
Work collaboratively across the organization and share best practices. Act as a major contributor/leader among peer group.
Build a diverse organization that reflects the marketplace; lives to Red Bull’s values and inspires team through effective leadership.
Ensure the Merchandising team understands and adheres to Company standards and operating procedures.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) management
Experience managing a team of sales and/or merchandising employees
Valid US Driver’s License and obtainment of DOT Medical card
Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays
English; additional languages an advantage
