COMPENSATION
- The pay range is $95,000.00 - $171,000.00
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. ABOUT THE ROLE
The Marketplace Senior New Business Development Manager, Alliances drives the growth of Marketplace through Revenue Intelligence. This role owns sourcing tools, new seller valuation, and emerging brand sourcing strategy to optimize pipeline health and support category acquisition teams. This role will leverage multiple data sources, analytics tools, and market insights to uncover new business opportunities, evaluate seller quality and revenue potential, and drive sourcing effectiveness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute revenue intelligence and seller sourcing strategies aligned to Marketplace category priorities, identifying and prioritizing high-potential brands, sellers, and growth opportunities.
- Leverage internal and external data sources to evaluate revenue potential, seller quality, conversion likelihood, and strategic fit.
- Drive data-driven decision making and performance management through pipeline analytics, market intelligence, reporting, and insights that improve sourcing effectiveness and business outcomes.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketplace New Business Development team to align sourcing priorities, assess opportunities, and support assortment and revenue growth strategies.
- Lead the optimization of revenue intelligence tools, processes, and operating models, creating scalable solutions, executive-level reporting, and continuous improvements that enhance pipeline quality and operational efficiency.
ABOUT YOU:
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience required.
- 5+ years of experience in consulting, revenue intelligence, analytics, strategy, marketplace growth or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience leveraging large datasets to drive business decisions required.
- Proficiency with analytics, reporting, and business intelligence tools required.
- Experience building and managing opportunity pipelines, sourcing programs, or lead-generation strategies preferred.
- Salesforce Salescloud experience is preferred.
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
