Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
• Take and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately
• Document patient information thoroughly in medical records while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, especially those with dementia or experiencing memory care needs

Skills

• Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments including home settings
• Ability to perform basic medical procedures like medication administration under supervision and vital signs monitoring
• Excellent caregiving skills with a focus on geriatrics, pediatric care, or behavioral health populations
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and safe manual handling practices while assisting patients with mobility
• Effective communication skills to work seamlessly with patients of all ages—including those with disabilities—and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
