Job Overview
This is a per diem position home health position with a minimum requirement of two days of availability per month. Therapist will be compensated at a per visit rate starting at $80 (includes required charting time). We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various settings, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and skilled nursing facilities. This role involves working closely with patients to enhance their ability to perform daily activities and improve their overall quality of life. The Occupational Therapist will develop individualized care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans aimed at improving their ability to perform daily living activities (ADLs).
- Implement therapeutic interventions in various settings such as clinics, schools, inpatient facilities, and skilled nursing environments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective communication regarding progress and adjustments to care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment goals, techniques, and strategies for achieving optimal outcomes.
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed records in compliance with regulatory standards.
