Hatch is seeking a Process Intern (Oil & Gas). Reporting to the Energy group, you will support offices globally working from our Houston, TX office location.

At Hatch, we greatly value in-person interaction and collaboration and are therefore an in-office environment. While flexibility is always provided to work remotely when needed, we encourage our teams to be in the office for most of the time. We encourage candidates to connect with their recruiter and hiring manager to understand workplace expectations and ensure the role aligns with their goals.

Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical or process engineering
- Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
As the successful candidate, you will:
- Identify production bottlenecks, develop and execute action plans, and assess the results
- Assist Process Engineer(s) with designs, support, research and calculations
- Provide technical support for production, maintenance, environmental, and quality
- Document problems related to the process or systems as seen or received from production
You bring to the role:
- Effective report writing skills, planning and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel to various Hatch offices, project, and supplier sites subject to project requirements
- Previous co-op or internship experience is considered an asset

- Perform assignments related to your sector
- Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects
- Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications
