- Plans and coordinates equipment requirements for practices, competitions, and team travel for assigned sports.
- Monitors compliance with institutional, conference, and NCAA regulations related to equipment issuance, apparel distribution, and embellishment programs.
- Leads and directs practices, pre/during/post-gameday (home and away) equipment needs, specific to ice hockey program.
- Exercises independent judgement in identifying equipment need of repair or replacement and recommends purchasing priorities based on inventory and equipment condition.
- Evaluates all embellishment orders and apparel branding independently and has final sign-off authority to approve or reject orders based on compliance standards.
- Assists with equipment and apparel requests within established policies and budget guidelines.
- Ensuring equipment care, maintenance expectations, and departmental procedures are followed.
- Monitors eligibility rosters via ARMS software and independently determines eligibility for equipment issuance; resolves ambiguous eligibility situations using independent judgment.
- Completes remaining laundry tasks when student workers are not available.
- Manages participation award programs, including independently coordinating vendor relationships and ensuring awards conform to NCAA regulations.
