The AirPrint team builds technologies and infrastructure that make printing simple, secure, and just work. The team is seeking an insightful, technically focused Software Engineer that can help build on a strong foundation and deliver new features and functionality.
Description
The Printing and Airplay Partner Engineering Team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with iOS or macOS framework development experience to join the team responsible for Apple's printing architecture. Responsibilities will include development and maintenance of the software printing stack used on Apple platforms. This role requires mature software engineering skills, an understanding of modern operating system architecture, and strong SW design fundamentals. Software development responsibilities will range from high-level UI development to low-level system implementation.","responsibilities":"Help design and implement new features for the AirPrint software stack
Work closely with QA to isolate and address bugs in a timely manner
Contribute to technical review of proposed designs and architectures

Experience with printing systems, PDF, or other related technologies
Network programming experience
Experience working with UIKit or AppKit
Experience working on mobile / embedded frameworks (1-3yrs)
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with Objective-C or Swift
Extensive experience developing on Apple platforms
Expert knowledge of C
Ability to stay focused and prioritize different projects while achieving extraordinary
quality
Bachelors with 4-5 years experience or Masters with 3-4 years experience
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,400 and $277,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
