Salary for this position typically starts around $50k and you will lead the team in the action and excitement of the casino floor. As a salaried leader you will be eligible to enroll in many best-in-class benefits on your first day of employment.
Supervises all aspects of slot and beverage operations for assigned shift, creating a differentiated service experience and ensuring optimum performance of all.
- Achieves desired results in all areas of responsibility through staff development and training programs, established methods, procedures and guidelines to maintain desired standards, and high quality service. Then, monitors results through inspection, evaluation and analysis. Makes changes if necessary to achieve end result.
- Accountability for all team members for day to day and long term operations to include hiring, training and developing employees which includes coaching, mentoring and appropriate performance management up to and including separation.
- Responsible for coordinating work flow during shift to meet business demands and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Familiarization with all Harrah’s Brand programs and systems.
- Responsible for the overall integrity of daily operations, ensures compliance with all regulatory, internal control, and policies and procedures.
- Builds guest relations through visibility to customer, soliciting/requesting feedback, and responding to guest concerns appropriately and professionally to resolve any issues.
- Presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same.
- Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
- Ensures accountability of all transactions through verification and documentation of exchanges.
- Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
Must be 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain Missouri Gaming License.
Must pass background check
Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.
Knowledgeable in data entry, read and interpret output from a computer.
Previous casino floor experience preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to work independently along with a team mentality.
Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more.
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift.
Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be able to maneuver around office areas, effectively work in high traffic areas and responds to visual and aural cues.
Mathematical abilities including addition and subtraction/accurate record keeping strongly required.
Must have the dexterity to grip and work necessary items (chips, 10 key adding machine, money bags, computers, money, etc.).
