OUR HIRING PROCESS:
- We will review your application against our job requirements. We do not employ machine learning technologies during this phase as we believe every human deserves attention from another human. We do not think machines can evaluate your application quite like our seasoned recruiting professionals—every person is unique. We promise to give your candidacy a fair and detailed assessment.
- We may then invite you to submit a video interview for the review of the hiring manager. This video interview is often followed by a test or short project that allows us to determine whether you will be a good fit for the team.
- At this point, we will invite you to interview with our hiring manager and/or the interview team. Please note: We do not conduct interviews via text message, Telegram, etc. and we never hire anyone into our organization without having met you face-to-face (or via Zoom). You will be invited to come to a live meeting or Zoom, where you will meet our INFUSE team.
- From there on, it’s decision time! If you are still excited to join INFUSE and we like you as much, we will have a conversation about your offer. We do not make offers without giving you the opportunity to speak with us live.
INFUSE is committed to complying with applicable data privacy and security laws and regulations. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.

How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Customer Success Representative
Target SaaS and tech companies first
Software companies hire Customer Success Representatives at high volume and have established visa sponsorship pipelines. They're far more likely to have HR teams familiar with OPT authorization than traditional retail or service businesses.
Lead with your bilingual skills
Fluency in a second language is a genuine differentiator for Customer Success roles. Many companies expanding internationally need representatives who can support non-English-speaking customers, which makes you directly more valuable than a domestic-only candidate.
Quantify your customer-facing experience
Employers want to see measurable impact. Frame internship or campus job experience with numbers: retention rates improved, tickets resolved, response times reduced. Concrete results make sponsorship feel like a lower-risk investment for hiring managers.
Apply before your OPT start date
Most employers need four to eight weeks to extend a job offer and complete onboarding paperwork. Starting your search at least two months before your OPT authorization begins gives you time to land a role without a gap in work authorization.
Be upfront about your authorization status
Mention your OPT status early in conversations, not after an offer. Framing it as a 12-month work authorization that can extend to 36 months for STEM graduates helps employers understand the timeline and reduces last-minute confusion or withdrawal.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Can I work as a Customer Success Representative on OPT?
Yes, as long as the role is directly related to your field of study. Customer Success Representative positions typically qualify for students with degrees in business, communications, marketing, information systems, or computer science. Your Designated School Official can confirm whether a specific role qualifies before you accept an offer.
Do Customer Success Representative roles commonly lead to H-1B sponsorship?
Many do, particularly at mid-size and large SaaS or tech companies. Customer Success is a core business function at software companies, and employers who rely on their CS teams often sponsor H-1B visas to retain strong performers after OPT expires. Smaller startups are less predictable, so it's worth asking about sponsorship intentions during the interview process.
Does a Customer Success Representative role qualify for the STEM OPT extension?
It depends on your degree, not just the job title. If you hold a STEM-designated degree (such as computer science, information systems, or a quantitative business field) and the role involves applying technical or analytical skills from that degree, it may qualify. Work closely with your DSO to confirm eligibility before counting on the 24-month extension.
How do I find Customer Success Representative jobs that sponsor OPT students?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this. The platform filters job listings by sponsorship willingness, so you're not sifting through postings from employers who won't work with OPT candidates. Searching there is significantly more efficient than applying broadly and discovering authorization issues after a recruiter screen.
What should I bring up about my OPT status when applying for Customer Success roles?
Be direct but clear: you have OPT work authorization for 12 months, potentially extendable to 36 months if you have a STEM degree and the role qualifies. Employers appreciate candidates who explain the timeline upfront. Avoid vague language like 'I'll need sponsorship eventually', specificity signals professionalism and makes the conversation easier for HR.
