Grow Your Career in One of the Country's Premier Hardscape Markets
We're looking for a driven, relationship-first sales professional to build and own a growing territory across Indiana and the surrounding region. This is a rare shot at joining a fast-growing, premium building-products company with a reputation contractors and dealers genuinely respect — one built on quality, craftsmanship, and doing right by the people who sell it.
If you love being out in the field, thrive on autonomy, and want to be part of something bigger than a territory number, we want to talk to you.
Why Techo‑Bloc?
- Competitive base salary + bonus + commission
- Defined multi‑tier career path with defined expectations and progression
- Best‑in‑class sales training, certifications, and ongoing development
- Advanced CRM, BI, and digital tools that make selling easier
- Portable, innovative sample systems that elevate the customer experience
-
Respected brand and strong company culture backed by award‑winning leadership
The Opportunity
- A hybrid, home-office-based role — you set your schedule, you run your territory.
- Daily, face-to-face selling: visiting contractors, dealer partners, and job sites across Indiana and the surrounding markets.
- Full autonomy over your own book of business, backed by an established, high-performing sales organization.
- A real onboarding program and career path built to help you grow — and earn — over time.
We design, manufacture, and stand behind products that set the standard in our industry—and our sales team sells with confidence knowing they’re backed by quality, innovation, and the industry’s best warranty.
Job Description
What You'll Do
- Build genuine relationships with contractor and dealer partners across your territory.
- Bring new products, ideas, and solutions into the field — educating and equipping partners to sell with confidence.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through your own research, prospecting, and hustle.
- Represent a premium, respected brand at trade shows, dealer events, and training sessions.
- Use modern sales tools and data to plan your week, track your progress, and hit ambitious goals.
- Deliver the kind of follow-up and service that keeps partners coming back to you first.
Qualifications
What You Bring
- Experience selling into a dealer network, or a background in building materials, construction, or a related trade — preferred, not required.
- A natural relationship-builder who knows how to earn trust and isn't afraid to ask for the business.
- Comfort with CRM tools and a data-informed approach to managing your territory.
- A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel within your assigned territory.
- Self-motivation, professionalism, and a genuine hunger to grow.
Additional Information
Why This Territory
- Indiana's home-building and outdoor living boom is real — more decks, patios, and backyard projects are going in every year, and demand is outpacing the number of reps actually showing up to sell into it.
- This is a wide-open market, not a picked-over one. You're not inheriting a territory someone else already maxed out — there's real, untapped room to build your own book from day one.
- Manageable geography, real relationships: this region rewards the kind of face-to-face, handshake selling that gets lost in bigger, more crowded metros.
- Most of what's currently on dealer lots here is builder-grade. Bringing a genuinely premium option into this market is a story that sells itself — you're not a tough sell, you're a breath of fresh air.
- Central location means a livable, sane territory — the kind of driving radius that lets you actually build relationships instead of just logging miles.
Career Path & Earning Potential Techo-Bloc offers a structured career path with clear opportunities to grow into more senior sales roles as your experience and results build. Compensation includes a competitive base salary, performance-based bonus opportunities, and a vehicle allowance for field travel.
Benefits A comprehensive benefits package including medical coverage, retirement plan matching, and the equipment you need to succeed in the field, backed by a structured onboarding and mentorship program to help you get up to speed in an established market.
Techo-Bloc is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Outside Sales Representative Jobs in Indianapolis: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a outside sales representative job in Indianapolis?
Your strongest entry point in Indianapolis is targeting the city's large healthcare, logistics, and manufacturing sectors, which generate consistent outside sales demand. Employers along the North Meridian corridor and in the Keystone business district hire frequently, as do distribution companies anchored near the I-465 beltway. Candidates who can demonstrate territory management experience and a familiarity with Indianapolis's mid-market B2B landscape stand out most with local hiring managers.
Which companies hire outside sales representatives in Indianapolis?
Companies currently hiring outside sales representatives in Indianapolis include Graybar, Jobot, and Orkin, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Indianapolis's mix of regional headquarters, healthcare networks, and logistics firms means outside sales roles appear across both large enterprises and independent distributors rooted in the local market.
Are there remote outside sales representative jobs in Indianapolis?
Yes, though outside sales roles are by nature field-based, requiring in-person client visits and territory coverage, so fully remote positions are less common than in desk-based roles. About 44% of outside sales representative openings tied to Indianapolis are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting a mix of inside-outside hybrid structures. Account management and business development variations tied to Indianapolis's technology and SaaS employers tend to offer the most flexibility.
How can I get a outside sales representative job in Indianapolis with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Indianapolis is landing a sales development representative or inside sales role with one of the city's healthcare suppliers, specialty distributors, or technology firms, then transitioning to a field-facing position. Companies in the Fishers and Carmel corridors regularly hire for entry-level sales roles with structured onboarding. Demonstrating local knowledge of Indianapolis's business communities and a driver's license for territory coverage gives first-time candidates a practical edge over applicants without regional familiarity.
Which industries hire the most outside sales representatives in Indianapolis?
Most outside sales representative openings in Indianapolis sit in Staffing & Recruiting, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Indianapolis's role as a major healthcare hub, combined with its concentration of distribution centers and a growing technology sector, sustains consistent outside sales demand across these fields year-round.
