Growth Manager Jobs in Indiana: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a growth manager in Indiana?
A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is the standard starting point for growth manager roles in Indiana. No state-issued license is required. Most Indiana employers expect candidates to build practical skills through analytics tools, CRM platforms, and campaign management experience, often gained in coordinator or analyst roles. Indianapolis-based tech companies and life sciences firms frequently post mid-level openings that favor candidates with a combination of formal education and hands-on growth experimentation.
Which companies hire growth managers in Indiana?
Companies currently hiring growth managers in Indiana include Dakota, Malibu Wellness, and Honest Abe Roofing, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Indiana's mix of headquartered manufacturers, life sciences firms, and growing tech startups creates steady demand for growth talent across industries.
Which Indiana cities have the most growth manager jobs?
Indianapolis, Indiana, and Carmel have the most growth manager openings in Indiana. Indianapolis dominates because it is home to the state's largest concentration of corporate headquarters, tech companies, and life sciences employers, while Fort Wayne and Bloomington generate openings through regional manufacturing anchors, insurance firms, and university-affiliated organizations that maintain dedicated growth and marketing functions.
Are there remote growth manager jobs in Indiana?
Yes, and more than most fields, because growth manager work is largely analytical and digital rather than on-site. About 50% of growth manager openings tied to Indiana are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how heavily the role relies on software tools and cross-functional communication that travel well over video and shared dashboards. Fully remote postings tend to concentrate in demand generation, SEO strategy, and paid media optimization.
How can I get hired as a growth manager in Indiana with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a marketing coordinator or digital analyst role at one of Indiana's larger employers, where you can build measurable campaign experience before moving into a growth-focused title. Indianapolis-based companies in tech, insurance, and life sciences regularly post associate marketing roles that serve as feeders into growth teams. Building a portfolio of real experiments, even from freelance or volunteer projects, and earning a certification in Google Analytics or HubSpot significantly strengthens applications when formal experience is limited.
