Growth Manager Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a growth manager in New York?
There is no state-issued license or New York-specific credential required to work as a growth manager. Most New York employers expect a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, economics, or a related analytical field, followed by hands-on experience in performance marketing, product analytics, or revenue operations. Building a portfolio of measurable growth outcomes, completing a recognized analytics or growth certification, and targeting roles at New York's dense cluster of consumer tech and fintech companies is the most direct path into the role.
Which companies hire growth managers in New York?
Employers hiring growth managers in New York right now include Amazon, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Rippling, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. New York's concentration of fintech, media, and direct-to-consumer brands means growth manager roles appear regularly at both established platforms and high-growth startups headquartered in the city.
Which New York cities have the most growth manager jobs?
New York, New York City, and Buffalo are the New York areas with the most growth manager openings. New York City dominates because it is home to the largest concentration of consumer tech, fintech, and media companies in the state, while Brooklyn draws startups and e-commerce brands, and suburban markets like Hoboken and Jersey City reflect employers whose teams operate across the metro corridor.
Are there remote growth manager jobs in New York?
Yes, and more than most fields. Growth manager work is largely analytical and collaborative rather than on-site, making it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 39% of growth manager openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting employer comfort with distributed growth teams. Experimentation, data analysis, and strategy work are the functions most commonly performed fully remotely.
How can I get hired as a growth manager in New York with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a growth marketing coordinator, marketing analyst, or junior product analyst role at a New York startup or mid-size consumer brand, where scope is broad and advancement is faster than at large enterprises. Companies in New York's fintech and SaaS sectors regularly hire associates without direct growth titles and promote from within. Completing a growth or product analytics certification and building a portfolio of side projects or measurable freelance results gives candidates a concrete edge when applying to these associate-level openings.
Where can I find and apply to growth manager jobs in New York?
You can find and apply to growth manager jobs in New York on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across New York City, Brooklyn, and the broader metro area. Search the listings to find roles that match your experience level and specialty, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
